I admit it, I don't understand what's going down in Ukraine.
A few observations:
First, this was not a 'democratic' revolution. The previous government, irretrievably corrupt as it was, nonetheless was legally elected. It was overthrown by violence.
Who are the good guys? Well they're not going to be the ones supported by the EUSSR, the Neocons, McStain (but I repeat myself) and George Soros. And the chief agent provocateur Assistant Sec. of State Victoria Nuland .....who's married to war-mongering chicken hawk Robert Kagan, founding member of PNAC, you know, the people who dreamt up the 9/11 false flag. You couldn't make this shit up. Are these people in every fucking nook and cranny?
But wait. The new guys number among their ranks militants who agree with those who sided with the Germans in WW II, who wave dodgy flags and who've frightened the shit out of the local Jewish community. The whole ethos of the new government is ultra-nationalistic, anti-Russian, pro-EUSSR and anti-Jewish.
A heady brew indeed.
My own belief is that the insurrection is being driven and financed by western interests with the aim of weakening Russia and surrounding that country even more effectively. A Ukraine, even a truncated one that was heavily anti-Russian, would fit that particular bill very nicely. My guess - and it's only a guess - is that they feel they can control the street rowdies once they've fulfilled their role as cannon fodder for the regime change project.
Maybe. But what I do know though is that this Western mischief and meddling could result in an international crisis and/or civil war that would make events in Syria look like a walk in the park. The level of irresponsibility displayed, given the potentially catastrophic outcome, is simply criminal. Criminal. The cost to Ukraine, a country with the Holodomor still a living memory for some people, could be absolutely catastrophic.
But hey, who gives a damn about that. eh?
