The positives of the Wilders trial

Randall Parker over at Parapundit has organised a multi-blog posting day on behalf of Geert Wilders. That was yesterday - I missed out I'm afraid, but better late than never.

I have a slightly different take compared to most others in that I think the trial is a good thing. I say this because first it throws up a number of glaring paradoxes:

1: A a man constantly surrounded by security guards to protect him from Muslim assassins is the one on trial for his supposed crimes against Muslims

2: The Dutch government is actually trying to imprison the leader of the main opposition party

Is that un-Dutch or what?

Then the trial will give Wilders a superb platform to highlight, in front of the international media, the full horrors of the Koran and what passes for life under the Religion of Peace. Unless the courts move strongly to interdict him, which will exacerbate the paradoxes I referred to above, he has the stage to himself.

And in a worse case scenario which sees him convicted and jailed.... well what sort of a reaction do you think there'll be to that in tolerant, open, liberal Holland?

All in all, far more positives than negatives methinks!

A week in Holland

In Holland for the last week, ostensibly on work but also to suss out how things were in the heartland of Eurabia. My host was my long time friend Hubert, both of us ex-Communists. The ‘ex’ deriving from our time spend several decades ago in some of the Workers’ Paradises of Eastern Europe. Even now I'm looking at a tape ‘Best Of Communist Marching Songs’

Oh dear! Anyway, that was a long, long time ago.

Hubert had lined up a wide range of people to meet, including those from the multiculti wing right over to Dutch nationalists.

My first physical impression was horrendous. Even in small picturesque towns, well outside the main cities one could see whole areas given over to the Forces of Darkness. Mosques sprouted everywhere, every second TV channel seemed to feature some fanatic in a beard. There was a program which discussed how second-generation Moroccans had rates of schizophrenia twenty times higher than the norm. The fact that this didn’t affect the first immigration generation was, when I was there, the subject of much discussion.

Some people I met told me about Afshin Ellian who lives near Utrecht, surrounded by bodyguards, in fear of his life. His crime? This Iranian immigrant writes a column that's critical of the Religion of Peace. Unlike the overwhelming majority of Muslims, this one deeply appreciates the Enlightenment values he found in Europe. He believes that they should be vigorously defended, by force if needs be.

Some chance.

I learned from a member of the Social Democrats (leftwing party) that Holland had an exact replica of the Swedish ‘voluntary censorship’ model (see my post here), whereby identifying the religion/ethnicity of criminals was prohibited. In Holland the vast majority of crimes – especially violent ones – are committed by immigrants. And we can't have people finding out the truth in a liberal democracy, can we?

The most successful wheeze though, and also the most outrageous, was Muslims’ success in capitalising on the experience of Jews at the hands of the Nazis. This is a sore point for the Dutch, who feel they could and should have done more at that time. Now Muslims and their multiculti quislings have skillfully captured this emotion whereby any defense of enlightened values gets channelled into an attack on a victimised minority.

We’re the new Jews’ became the cry (‘you can't hit me with the Jews in my arms’). The irony here of course is that anti-Semitism in Europe is dominated by Muslims, not surprising when their ‘schools’ expose their students to a non-stop stream of anti-Jewish venom. But hey! Why let facts get in the way of a good story?

However, it’s not all bad news. The murder of Theo van Gogh seems to have finally resurrected something of a fight back. Strong words ‘offensive’ even, have appeared about Muslim immigrants in the MSM. I'm told that people will openly talk now about the negative sides of mass immigration in a way that would never have happened before. Anti-immigrant parties are getting a much larger share of the vote.

But I'm afraid I'm with Afshin Ellian. He fears that Europeans, in their ‘self-hating nihilism and utopian anti-Americanism’ have lost the will to fight back and are losing the war. I think it’s too late, the demographics are against the native Dutch. The two main cities are close to having Muslim majorities already, and the birthrates for blacks and Muslims are orders of magnitude higher than those of Dutch natives, who in any event, as I pointed out in this post, are fleeing the country in droves.

The Dutch need for consensus, guilt over the Jews in WW II, guilt over colonialism, the non-stop stream of multiculti propaganda from the MSM have combined to make them easy meat for a devious and ruthless reverse-colonial enemy. The land of Spinoza may be headed for a new Dark Age.

Hope from Holland

My joy was untrammeled at the success of Geerd Wilders and his ‘extreme right-wing party’ (what absolute bollocks that description is) at the recent elections in Holland.

Describing the results as an awakening from a long nightmare, Wilders added “a nightmare of crazy high taxes, crime, lousy care, headscarves and burkas, of pauperizing, of mass immigration and Islamisation.”

Despite the Stalinist effectiveness of the PC Thought Police it seems that the mountain of evidence faced by ordinary Dutch people every day could no longer be swept under the carpet. Not just massive welfare scrounging and no-go areas for non-Muslims, but as I showed in this post, the evidence that violent criminals in Holland are almost all of foreign origin.

And there seem to be similar signs in the British elections as well, although a bit early to say yet.

Maybe, just maybe, there’s a chance that it heralds an awakening in Europe. Maybe, just maybe, the sheeple will see through the barrier of lies and propaganda and realise what a catastrophic failure the multi-cultural social engineering experiment has been.

Maybe. It won't matter to me personally given my age, but it most certainly will matter to my Savantettes, and to their contemporaries.

Black Peter's "offensive"

The Dutch have a tradition going back to the year dot in which Santa is assisted by Zwarte Piet (Black Peter). The Dutch are very attached to this tradition, but according to iReport.com, a user-generated news site with links to CNN, certain foreigners within Holland are not.

For years many foreigners living in The Netherlands have been trying, without success, to point out the negative racist connotations of the Black Peter. We have been trying to let Dutch people know that many people find it offensive to don "blackface/golliwog" makeup.

We would like to see the Dutch realize that it would be nicer if they made "Zwarte Piet" a non-racist character -- just a person with some soot on his face from coming down the chimney, rather than with painted dark skin, afro, and a Caribbean accent to appear as a "slave" of the white "Sinterklaas", of which he was originally intended.”

To which my suggestion would be, if you don't like the Dutch traditions, and are ‘offended’ (that word again) by them, why don't you just fuck off back to the non-offensive hell-hole you fled?

But why do that when you can, er, convice the Dutch by more direct means? The way the Religion of Peace does it.

Here’s the report again: “There have been unfortunate threats to elementary schools who celebrate "Zwarte Piet". These threats are very sad, but not all that surprising given the current anti-multiculturalist climate in The Netherlands.”

Now isn't that sweet? Typical of the ‘moderate’ Muslims approach that I've pointed out on many occasions. It goes like this: We first politely ask you to bend to our will. If you don't, some of our more hot-headed members will, unfortunately – and while we don't agree with it we understand it - apply violence to ensure that you do.

Ergo, problem solved.

And what did you think of that little bit at the end “these threats are very sad, but not all that surprising given the current anti-multiculturalist climate”? The whole game has been betrayed by their own lips. We are now multicultural, so if you don't eliminate what we deem to be offensive we’ll resort to violence to ensure you do.

Well, don't say we haven’t been warned.

Ethnic conflict in 40% of Dutch schools

Immigrant and ethnic Dutch students are fighting in school more and more often. According to data from the education inspection, almost 40% of secondary schools had ethnic conflicts last year, an increase of 10% in two years. There were ethnic conflicts between students in almost 250 secondary schools.

Fights, discrimination and problems with extreme-right 'Lonsdale youth' happen the most in vocational and technical schools. There's a marked increase of such violence in university preparatory schools (havo and vwo), where 30% of the schools deal with ethnic clashes, twice as many as a year earlier.

Dr. Jaap van Donselaar, says that tensions have increased already since the murder of Pim Fortuyn. According to him it's mostly not extreme-right or radical Muslim youthm but rather groups who clash due to culture differences, which happens when they meet out in town or in the school yard.In Uithoorn, for example, Londsdale and immigrant youth set up a fight in school during carnival. In a school in Heerlen Londsdale youth were ambushed by immigrants, and in Rotterdam a white students was abused because he associated with immigrant students.

Van Donselaar says that the actual numbers are much higher and that such incidents are often not reported. Many schools are afraid of getting a bad name.

Brace yourself, Ireland.

Holland goes completely mad

My friend Oskar - my eyes and ears in Rotterdam - send me this link. As I read it my head lolled and my tongue hung out in disbelief.

Read on:

THE HAGUE, 11/03/08 - A district court in Rotterdam has acquitted a 20 year old Somali of a mugging. Although the police found his loot in his pocket, the judge wanted to see more evidence.
The victim said he was threatened by the Somali, who told him he had a revolver aimed at his back. He received a blow on his head and was forced to surrender his wallet.

When the police arrived they found the wallet in the Somali's jacket pocket. The Public Prosecutor (OM) considered robbery proven, but ran up against the judge, who wanted to see further evidence.

The judge was unmoved by the OM's argument that the victim had given a very detailed statement and the fact that the Somali had been convicted of mugging earlier, Additionally the suspect lied in more than one court case in the past, the OM argued in vain.

"One must certainly have guts to immediately mug someone again after just having served a prison sentence of some months. One must also assume that the defendant has learned something from the sentence and that it has made him wiser," according to the judge, who ordered the man's release!!!

The Somali showed that this was not enough for him. He was kept in custody for two months despite, he claims, being innocent and will demand damages from the man who accused him. If I were the victim I'd start arranging a bank load as soon as possible.

By the way, Oskar tells me that this case never made it to the MSM. Isn't that amazing?

Just take from the kuffirs

There' was a bit of a row (by Dutch standards) in their Parliament some time back. Health Minister Hoogervorst wanted to give priority on transplantation waiting lists to people who are registered as donors, but MPs slammed the proposal on claims it will introduce discrimination in healthcare. So far so good.... kind of.

The Health Minister defended his proposal by pointing out that Muslims refuse to donate organs based on religious beliefs. Fair enough, as presumably they won't accept them either. But no! They're quite willing to accept organs, but not give them.

"That creates a bad feeling," the Minster said, with masterly understatement. He added that it "is not just a few Muslims who refuse to give and whom are willing to receive an organ donation. It is instead a substantial group". Immigrants often have poorer health and will require a transplant more often than native Dutch. Due to the shortage of organ donors — especially kidneys — some 200 people die every year in the Netherlands.

You'd think then that the proposal would be universally accepted. But no. The PC alarm bells went off, the Thought Police swung into action, and a major row ensued. This again underlines a fundamental precept of Muslim interaction with kuffirs. You can take but don't have any obligation to give. While it's a certainty that all or even most Muslims don't act this way, the 'Sacred Texts' enjoin it.

Anybody know how this proposal ended up?

From Hirsi Ali

Your Savant has always pointed out that Somalis (apart from Roma) are the worst possible immigrants. This is from Hirsi Ali, a fully-recovered Muslim from Somalia.

"As a child I was taught to suspect the stranger, to assume anybody will attack you, to fight for yourself since nobody else will, to support your own clan above anybody else's and see the others as the enemy. These are needed skills in Somali society."

Indeed, and these are the skills that we're importing along with the tens of thousands of Somalis we've allowed in here.

( Incidentally, Hirsi Ali was forced to flee Holland for her own safety, her life being under threat after she chucked in the Religion of Peace).

Goodbye Holland - nice knowing you

A survey by Amsterdam-based research bureau Signicom has indicated that 32 percent of Dutch people want to emigrate abroad and that just 51 percent are proud of the Netherlands. Or more correctly, proud of what the Netherlands has become. Since 2004 the country has become one of net emigration.

Sticking to PC orthodoxy, the report minces around the subject before conceding to the real reasons. These are “multiculturalism, over-population, criminality and socially distant people”. Excuse me, as Robert Putnam’s, and a myriad of other research findings have shown, these problems are coterminous with multi-culturalism. As the research shows, multi-culturalism means over-population, criminality and socially distant people.

The report reveals that “the Dutch are nostalgic about the past, a time when Holland is perceived as a friendlier place, with tight-knit communities, in which neighbours cared about and helped one another”.

I’ll bet they are, but it’s too late, boys and girls, it’s too late.

As these posts show, whole regions of the country are now dominated by unassimilated immigrants. Mohammed is now the most common name for boys in Rotterdam, and in whole neighbourhoods in many other cities and towns.

Let me paraphrase Bruce Bawer in closing. The irony is tragic. Having protected themselves with nothing short of genius from the violence of the seas, having instituted a welfare system that safeguarded every last one of them from financial insecurity, having developed probably the most tolerant and free country in the world, that promised every citizen dignity and equality, they seem to have brought Western civilization to its very pinnacle.

Yet they turned a blind eye to the very thing that would destroy it all.

Goodbye, Holland – it was good knowing you.

A glimse of Ireland in a few years

The Brussels Journal tells us that Europe’s no-go zones or SUAs ("sensitive urban areas" - I'm not making this up) are multiplying. These are areas where the police no longer dare to venture and where Islamists hold sway.

Every night since the beginning of last week, immigrant youths have been torching cars and clashing with police in Amsterdam’s Slotervaart district (photo left). The incidents started on Oct. 14 when a policewoman shot dead Bilal Bajaka, a 22-year old ethnic Moroccan, whilst he was stabbing her and a colleague with a knife. The bitch!

The officers were stabbed in the breast, face, neck and back. Surgeons could only narrowly save their lives.

Since the incident, Slotervaart has seen rioting almost every night. The Amsterdam Moroccans are “shocked” because one of them has been killed by an infidel woman. According to his family, Bilal Bajaka was mentally deranged and had a suicide obsession. Ahmed Marcouch, the Moroccan-born mayor of Slotervaart, criticized the Dutch authorities for failing to provide adequate health care for Bajaka’s mental problems. Presumably if he'd stayed in Morocco he'd have had state-of-the-art medical attention.

This splendid chap, Bilal Bajaka was a personal friend of Mohammed Bouyeri, the Jihadist who ritually slaughtered the Dutch film maker Theo van Gogh in 2004. Bilal’s attack on the two police officers came exactly two years after the arrest of his brother, Abdullah Bajaka, the leader of an alleged plot to blow up an El-Al Boeing at Amsterdam airport.

But note this: Bilal’s family background is not at all deprived. One of his sisters is a medical doctor, another sister is a fucking Dutch judge!!! By the tooth of the Prophet, are the Dutch out of their collective minds? (Memo to self: Yes).

For ten days now, the situation in Amsterdam’s immigrant neighbourhoods has been tense. Senior police officers compare the current situation in Amsterdam to the 2005 Ramadan riots in Paris. Media outside the Netherlands, however, hardly mention the riots, which aim to drive the police from Slotervaart and turn the neighborhood into a new no-go area – yet another pocket of Eurabia on Europe’s soil.

Similar events are currently taking place in Brussels. Last Sunday, demonstrating Turkish youths ransacked an Armenian restaurant in the Sint-Joost-ten-Node borough. According to the owner the police was present at the scene but did not interfere while his establishment was being demolished. The Armenian had to flee for his life.

Another man who had to run for his life was the Belgian journalist Mehmet Koksal, an ethnic Turk. He was attacked around 11 pm on Sunday evening by a group of some twenty Turkish youths in front of the American embassy in Brussels, a few yards from the Belgian parliament building. The Parliament and the US Embassy are less than one kilometer from Sint-Joost-ten-Node. Koksal fled to a nearby police car, but a female police officer refused to let him into the car, whereupon the youths savagely beat him up.

Fearing that they were about to lynch him, the police officer changed her attitude and allowed the journalist to seek refuge in the police car. Koksal told the press today that he is not going to press charges against the police for failing to help him. “The police woman was more afraid than I was and ultimately the police came to my rescue,” he said.

This is what's in store for us in Ireland folks, just a few years down the line, as the thousands of little Mohammeds and Salims reach, er, maturity.

Dutch natives fleeing Holland

This small nation is a magnet for immigrants, but statistics suggest there is a quickening flight of the white middle class. For example 110,235 people (mostly Dutch natives) left Holland last year, compared to 94,019 people (most of them Muslim and/or African) moving in. In the first half of this year 53,808 people moved out, compared to 40,842 moving in. To lose 100,000 natives a year is a lot for a country of 16 million, one million of whom already are Muslim immigrants. The emigrants are leaving for Western countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Scandinavia and the United States. They said they felt a general pessimism about their small and crowded country and about the social tensions that had grown along with the waves of newcomers. Many Dutch also seem bewildered that their country, run for decades on a cozy, political consensus, now seems so tense and prickly and bent on confrontation. "It is no longer Holland".

Needless to say, the Thought Police of political correctness ensure that these developments are rarely discussed in Dutch media or politics - gotta keep the masses in the dark. Someone described the slow and painful way people wake up to the problem of radical Islam as "education by murder". we'll find out in the rest of Europe in due course what it's like.
