AFP, one of the few somewhat credible news services remaining, has its head reporter for Johannesburg tell us that retailers in Zimbabwe, yes Zimbabwe, 'concerned about the rapid devaluation of the currency of their southern neighbor, South Africa's Rand, have now stopped accepting it entirely.'

This from a local Zimbabwean news outlet: “I told them that I was willing to top up on the 200 rand but the cashier said they did not accept the rand. I think it is not fair because we all know that the rand is a currency that is in use in the country.”

While not exactly a powerhouse of financial rectitude, Zimbabwe knows better than most how to identify a currency going down the tube.

Another small epiphany

I have a friend, responsible job, hard-working, rearing a family, has little spare time, and that which he has is taken up by watching sport.  He's shown minimal interest in The Issues That Concern US On This Blog whenever I've raised them.

Until now.

You see, during an ad break at the Australian Open he began flicking through the TV 'news' channels. First Sky News, where a black presenter was discussing something of no interest to him.  Then down to Russia Today (RT) where the anchor was a black female. Surprised by this he moved to the next channel on the menu, France 24.  Same thing. Astounded he then moved once more, this time to Al Jazeera.  Unbelievably - to him, would not have been to me - the presenter was again black.

This was his ho li fuk moment. He told me that the sheer statistical probability of this sequence, in normal circumstances, was  so remote that it proved to him that a colossal program of manipulation must be underway.  He subsequently did his own informal experiment, based on what I say about adverts and the 'entertainment' industry and his suspicions were emphatically confirmed.

'You can't say that.....it's true!'  I warned him when he regaled me with his experience. He wanted to talk about it and in fact asked me to send him on a copy of The Protocols.  He's been back since with a number of observations. 'Jeez, our experts today can't tell us what's going to happen next year, these guys were able to accurately forecast a century in advance.'   I explained to him that it wasn't quite that difficult to forecast when you're the actual change agent.

A giant step for man, a small step for mankind.  Are we at last emerging, blinking like moles, into the harsh daylight of reality?

A lesson in practical morality for Francis

You know, the more I see of Pope Francis the less I like.  He has all the appearances of being trendy and tolerant, in tune with the zeitgeist and not at all comfortable with this sin business. In 'reaching out' to gays he made the astonishing claim that  'it is not possible [for the Church] to interfere spiritually in the life of a person."  Well, if it's not 'interfering spiritually' then what exactly is the Church's purpose?

And if a good press is what you're after you can't beat the Immigration Industry.  And he's been fast off the mark here too. Visiting Lampedusa and demanding that all immigrants be 'given a home in Europe'.  Before Christmas, in another PR coup, he visited immigrants in Rome, handing out gifts and declaring that "a change of attitude towards migrants and refugees is needed on the part of everyone, moving away from attitudes of defensiveness and fear, indifference and marginalisation, all typical of a throwaway culture, towards attitudes based on a culture of encounter, the only culture capable of building a better, more just and fraternal world."

According to Catholic Online he then rounded it all off  by expressing the hope that countries would welcome migrants keeping the values of their culture of origin. So are we to assume then the millions of Muslims rampaging through the West will retain their quaint customs, ones like stoning to death for adultery, death for apostasy and death for insulting the 'prophet'?  And Africans retain  'values and customs' such raping children to cure AIDS, or killing and eating your enemies?

Seems like it.

Look, I have no love for the Catholic Church. Growing up in Ireland when I did I in fact came to detest the narrow-mindedness and rampant hypocrisy in which it wallowed. Gave up Catholicism by my mid-teens.  But now I see it as a possible ally in the fight against the cultural war on the West.  But Pope Francis won't be much of an ally. What he fails to realise is that pandering to contemporary moral standards might win him some grudging brownie point from the chattering classes and the representatives of the various sexual degenerates out there.  But it also leads to oblivion. 

Look at the Church of England which has become the most trendy of all.  Eschewing the taking of moral positions on anything, it instead espoused a vapid New Age feelgood vibe, kumbaya.  They even appointed an incomprehensible African tribesman as their head honcho to demonstrate their bona fides. Yet, far from making it relevant to the new age, the institution is for all practical purposes moribund. Its churches empty, the few believers rapidly ageing and dying off.  You see, for better or worse, it's the old fire and brimstone uncompromising religions that are doing best.  No matter how bizarre their teachings and rituals.

So this Pope is leading his institution down the path of oblivion.

Going back to the immigration issue, Aristotle taught us that impractical morality is no morality at all. (No wonder he's hated by libtards).  There is nothing on this earth more impractical than allowing vast numbers of additional immigrants into Europe. No need for me to elaborate why, of course.  And, were we to take the Pope's suggestion, the inevitable consequence would be to turbocharge the stampede, increasing numbers by orders of magnitude.  Impractical morality of the purest kind.

So here I make a practical moral suggestion for Pope Frankie. Open up the Vatican to the huddled masses on your doorsteps. Giving them call cards at Christmas is all well and good, but Frankie, you said it yourself, we must welcome them into our houses.  You have a very  very big one just up the road, and a lovely - and very large - holiday home at Castelgandolfo. The immigrants would just love them. And you know what?  you would too, Frankie.  You see they're such wonderful people. You said so yourself.

At last - an all-White TV series

A new Lifetime movie adaptation series is due to air shortly on America's screens.  And be prepared for a surprise.  There are no people of colour.  Just your typical blonde blue-eyed wholesome American family.  There must be a catch, you say, and you'd be right.  Of course you would.  Because this typical White American family is in fact steeped in the sickest form of degeneracy. Adultery, violence and yes, incest.  The plot of Flowers in the Attic has been described approvingly by one movie magazine as 'a delicious [sic] assault on family morals, with details considered so lurid and depraved' that nobody would be seen reading it when the book version was initially released in 1979.

Ah, but that was then, this is now.  Now it is, if I may make a play on incest itself, a game for all the family.  Why, there's even a video out entitled 'Nine reasons to Love [sic] Flowers In The Attic'. The media moguls, with lip-smacking relish, anticipate lots more dollars and civilizational breakdown.  I referred here to the program underway to get paedophilia accepted. It now seems that a second incest-armed front has been opened up because 'Flowers' is just one element of a general infestation.

A survey of incest plotlines in popular culture over the past few years alone includes Game of Thrones (sister and brother, Cersei and Jaime); Boardwalk Empire (mother and son, Gillian and Jimmy); Dexter (adopted sister and brother, Deb and Dexter); Bored to Death (half-sister and brother, Jonathan and Rose); Bates Motel (mother and son, Norma and Norman); and Top of the Lake (half-sister and brother, Robin and Johnno, though was only a scare)—not to mention, Brothers and Sisters, Supernatural, Nip/Tuck, Lost, Veronica Mars, Californication, Six Feet Under and the upcoming mini-series The Spoils of Babylon, which stars Toby Maguire and Kristen Wiig as romantically involved adopted siblings.

Another useful rejoinder

I've been compiling some useful debating points for use in our battle to win hearts and minds. (Here's a recent example).  Discovered another one during the week during the course of a reasonably friendly discussion about the Holocau$t™.  The general argument against my position (outlined here) was to the effect that every 'reputable' historian and expert in the field would disagree with me.

At one stage I came up with this: 'Ok, on the one hand I'm suggesting that you do your own research into the Holocau$t™, check out every and any source, going to original material if possible.  Nothing out of bounds. By way of contrast the other side have made it a  a jailable offence in many countries to even question  the official narrative.  Now I ask you, which side is more confident of its position?"

Let me just say that there was a distinct lack of counter-argument.  Eventually the idea of its being such a unique horror (it is not unique, of course) that special laws were needed to avoid possible repetition. My response: This is a weak, weak argument.  If the story were true they'd want us to be all over it, studying every little detail.

Suffice to say I came out of the discussion well ahead on points.  One guy asked me at the end 'was Hitler as bad as he's made out to be?'   The fact that this guy asked me this question was in itself highly significant..  My response was that Hitler has been transformed into a cartoon-like figure for evil which has been deployed to stifle and silence any questioning of the narrative.

In the early days of this blog I used to have long email discussions with Uncle Nasty (not his real name) on the issue of mass immigration. My beef was with the Africans and Muslims who were flooding into our lands and ruining them.  UN had a different view, seeing them as mere front line troops in a deep and ongoing Jewish plan for the demise of Western/Christian society.  Initially I disagreed, seeing Jews as highly intelligent and capable, and yes, while they might be 'liberal' and internationalist, I found it easy to understand why. And some of the earliest and most trenchant critics of mass immigration were the Jewish people I knew.

That was then of course, this is now.  As I dug deeper and deeper, peeled back layer after layer of the onion I came around to fully accepting his take. I still found it hard to understand why they continued to do what they do, given that they're in no danger at all in the West, au contraire, they're thriving.  It seemed so counter-productive. His explanation? That's just what they do.  They can't help it.

I've by now almost fully accepted his position on this as well, even though I still can't really get my head around it.  It's just so....perverse. And finally I came to an even more outlandish conclusion in that it seemed they use their power to  actually provoke and humiliate us.  And as I warned here, this was a very risky way to behave, irrespective of  your control and power.

UN pointed out that, always and ever Jews kept pushing and pushing, never learning, until at some point the host population exploded in anger, with predictably dire consequences.  Until very recently the  possibility of this happening today seemed, to my mind at last least, remote to the point of being non-existent.  Well,  I'm no longer sure of that either. You see, the nomination of Stanley Fischer, Governor of the Central Bank of Israel as the 'Deputy' Chairman of the US Federal Reserve has elicited a torrent of outrage. Before I go on to that let me say that I'm just staggered at the chutzpah here, which borders on the reckless. 

The Federal Reserve (of course it's not 'Federal' at all. It's privately opwned by the major American banks and has been a Jewish preserve since God was a boy) has, over the last few decades, roundly screwed up the US economy and further enriched the infamous 1%.  Now were I a member of the tribe in question, especially when you consider that tribe's existing stranglehold on the MSM, Hollywierd, the law, politics and academia I'd be saying - and I really would -  Jesus lads, take it easy will yez? We'll have everyone else down on top of us like a ton of bricks. This is totally over the top. Stop it, for the love of God or we're all fucked.

But they've gone ahead and done it.  And here's the rub.  There has - at last - been that explosion of outrage. Not of course from the editorial writers and columnists in the MSM, almost all of whom seem to have names like Cohen, Fleischer, Applebaum, Kravitz etc.  No, it's coming from the readers.  The ordinary Joes.  I have never seen anything like it either in terms of volume or vehemence. And look, I'm talking about the MSM, and middle-of-the-road economic and political blogs here, not the Alternative Right. All this despite what clearly has been a massive culling operation. For example up to late last night the LA Times printed a mere three comments (two of which were highly critical) whereas such a subject would normally attracts dozens of comments within hours.

Let me repeat: I have never seen anything like it. I've displayed below a representative selection.

This is a complete outrage. The man is an Israeli, not an American. He has been structuring US aid to Israel for decades, doing vast damage to the US in a massive giveaway. A hero for our times

I heard about this hero business during a short drive yesterday.  Newstalk Radio was already in the course of reading out encomiums to a new international hero by the time I tuned in.  'Remarkably brave', 'inspirational', 'showed great courage', 'huge credit due to him'.  Even Oily Dave Cameron got into the act, saying 'I always admired him, now even more so'.

Who was this guy and what had he done?  Had he perhaps rescued the trapped global warming scientists, trekking through icy blizzards, an Algorean over each shoulder as he hauled them to safety?  Or maybe he'd fought a savage lion barehanded in a zoo to rescue a child who'd fallen into their pit?

I couldn't wait to get home to check out this latter day Leonidas. No difficulty doing that as it was all over the media. And who is he?  Former footballer Thomas Hitzlsperger. And what had he done?  He admitted he was a faggot. A fudge-packer, carpet muncher, rear admiral, or whatever term you prefer.  And that was it.  Coming out as gay earned him these encomiums. 

How exactly was this 'brave' or 'admirable'?  It's about as brave as coming out and proclaiming that you're in favour of motherhood and apple pie.  What am I saying?  It's far less brave than saying that, because motherhood and apple pie are pretty much diminished, even despised concepts in this Brave New World of ours. At least among the chattering classes who decide such things.

So yes, I suppose, Thomas Hitzlsperger is after all a genuine hero of our times.

b) Force him to listen to Mariah Carey non-stop for 24 hours - and in a fiendish refinement, with hands tied (no blocking ears) and mouth stuffed with a gag (no screaming to drown out the terrible sound of her caterwauling)?

c) Appoint him as the country's school safety czar, specifically Deputy Secretary for the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools?

Truth stranger than fiction

This one goes straight into my already bulging file of You-Couldn't-Make-This-Shit-Up-If-You-Tried anecdotes. A crack team of global warming scientists headed in a boat to the Arctic Circle, hoping to find some remnants of the rapidly disappearing polar ice cap. (Due to totally disappear later this year).  Or maybe to capture for posterity the dying gasps of the last polar bear, as he baked to death under the blazing pitiless arctic sun.

Well, presumably you know what happened. Instead of chasing the disappearing ice cap the rapidly growing ice cap started chasing them.  So fast was it moving the Algoreans were unable to escape and now remain trapped by the very thing they profess to love. All attempts to rescue them have been foiled by cold snow and ice.

Now it is deeply satisfying to observe this unedifying spectacle. But one hopes in vain for the presstitutes in the MSM to give us the real story. Because nowhere do they admit the true purpose of the mission, never disclose that the scientists were Algoreans to a man (and woman, I presume such an environment demands gender equality).  No, the brainwashing continues without shame or embarrassment. The Global Warming industry must be appeased......too much money depending on it.

[PS:  Some of our eagle-eyed readers have pointed out that the ship is stuck in the Antarctic rather than the Arctic. Hmmmm.  Well, it's only the other end of the world.  What's your point?]

The ideal man

I see that Keith Vaz MP has been to Luton airport to greet Britain's (and Ireland's) first batch of Roma immigrants due to swarm into the country under new immigration laws.  Why would he be the one, I asked myself?  But on reflection realised he was in fact the perfect one.

Consider:
