I see the interesting thing in this development as the reaction of TPTB, not the settlement itself.

Then, in real life, they discover that they're not alike at all. When the only thing they really have in common is a strong individualistic streak, strife is inevitable.
For example, I lived in the country for many years. I soon found that there are two kinds of people who move to the country. One, like me, wants to escape the noise and daily friction of enforced contact with people. The other kind lives in the country because he's fed up with people complaining about his noise and general anti-social behaviour; and to escape the municipal bye-laws against same. We both got less than we wanted.
That's what I think you're doing; assuming that all residents of this Citadel would be there for the same motives as yours. That's the only thing I can guarantee about this venture - they won't.

I know it's a bit of a trite, bombastic statement but
I've noticed that it is always the lowest, most disenfranchised and sorriest of people who clamor for "equality". Anyone with positive self-esteem can realise that not all men are created equally.
I can celebrate the achievements of others while focusing and working on my own. I can't see why anyone would want to be "equal" and lose their own authentic identity unless, of course, they have sinister motivations (I beez equal, gibs me yo wallet, yo job and yo genetic heritage).
I hope the people of Citadel avoid the communism of egalitarianism even egalitarianism under THEIR OWN value system. Indeed this will be one of their big challenges IMHO. I do hope they show the doubters.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Monday signaled he was ready to begin repatriating African migrants, which he termed the "second stage" in the effort to clear Israel of illegal infiltrators.
"We have succeeded in blocking the entry of infiltrators from Africa to Israel," Netanyahu said at the start of a discussion he convened on the issue. "After having faced the threat of the entry of hundreds of thousands, this month, not one infiltrator entered Israel's cities."
The prime minister said that after workers complete construction of the the security fence being built along Israel's southern border next month, Israel will start working to send migrants already in Israel back to their home countries. "Now we are moving on to the second stage, that of repatriating the infiltrators who are already here."
Netanyahu appointed a special representative, Hagai Hadas, to oversee the repatriation of "tens of thousands of infiltrators" to their countries of origin. There are currently an estimated 60,000 migrants residing in Israel, mostly originating from Sudan and Eritrea. Thousands of migrants are being held in detention facilities in the South, with Israel's "infiltrator law" enabling authorities to imprison without trial for up to three years anyone who has entered the country illegally.
There you go. Take a leaf from israel's book. Don't call them "Illegals" or "Undocumented Immigrants".

Israeli MPs on Wednesday accused US President Barack Obama of meddling in "Israel's" upcoming elections, after an opinion piece purported to outline his view on Benjamin Netanyahu's "self-defeating" policies.
The piece, which was published by the prominent Bloomberg columnist Jeffery Goldberg noted that Obama appeared to see Netanyahu as a "political coward" vis-a-vis the peace process with the Palestinians, and considered that he was completely "captive to the settler lobby," and his settlement activity was moving Israel "down a path toward a near complete isolation."
Member of the Israeli Knesset on the Likud list, Danny Danon said Wednesday that such commentary would only bring Netanyahu, who is already the clear frontrunner, more votes.
"Any external intervention attempt only brings us more seats," he told the Zionist daily Yediot Aharonot.
For his part, Netanyahu visited the Gaza border Wednesday and the Zionist daily Jpost quoted him as replying on Obama.
"I think everyone understands that only Israel's citizens will be the ones to determine who faithfully represents Israel's vital interests," Netanyahu said in his first direct response to Obama's reported criticism.
"Over the last four years we stood up against strong pressure, and I will continue to do so for Israel's security”.
However, Jpost had reported earlier Tuesday that senior Likud officials had already accused Obama of leaking sharp criticism on Netanyahu’s leadership in order to sway voters in next Tuesday’s election.

Cannot agree more, I'm afraid. By announcing it, one allows the forces of darkness to swing into action by using a whole battery of tried and true pre-emptive strikes.
