Please watch this video clip

Thanks to Robert for sending us in this link. It shows Austrian MP Ewald Stadler ripping into the Turkish Ambassador, and into Islam, in a breathtaking way. It was so good I must have played it half a dozen times. And even better was the reaction from his fellow parliamentarians. Most of them cheered and clapped loudly. Things are really changing.

Play and enjoy.

But my joy was tempered with other news from Austria. Here a local man was fined €800 because his yodelling offended his next-door Muslim neighbours. The mad judges ruled he “could have tried to offend them and ridicule their belief.”
.I swear – I'm not making this up.

Still, I believe the balance from these two stories to be highly positive. First that a parliamentarian can say what he did and, far from being shouted down (the usual response) was actually applauded by his fellow legislators. As for the yodeling incident, exasperating in itself but I believe that in the long term this kind of thing will translate into a popular democratic revolt.

Wow! Stirring stuff from the Austrian. Straight up and telling it like it is. I like the way he dealt with the craven liberals too, they didn't know what had hit them.

I hate to say this Savant. It was really boner material. I so sorely wish I could hear this emanating from the majority. Wishful thinking I know but offers a glimmer of light at the end of a terribly long tunnel. I'm ex-S.A and living in Canada. This man should get protection as an endangered species. Long live yourself and all the bloggers out there who bring this sort of story home. I just watched this video with my 12 year old son and took the time to explain the importance of these issues being brought to the attention of all our people. I did fill him in with some of the history such as the Ottoman's, genocide, intolerance etc.... Thanks again. I've been a follower/fan for a lot of years.

Awesome video. Its about fucking time a man stands up and speaks the truth!!

Yes, very good clip. Most enjoyable.

Sad to say, though, one watches an EU member politician speak this bluntly (and honestly), and you think to yourself: gosh, can he actually say these things? Is one still allowed to?

A generation ago (I've been in the UK almost that long) you wouldn't ask these questions. But such has been the erosion of free speech that one simply cannot be sure anymore, even with parliamentary priviledge as in the clip. Ridiculous, of course, but also a sad indictment on the trend of modern European culture and governance.

Regarding the "yodelling incident", the truth is becoming more and more irrelevant to the anti-discrimination lobby. Operating like the Inquisitors of old, they are determined to find discrimination whether it exists or not.

We have to remember as well that Vienna was not called Rotes Wien for no reason (~red Vienna). Austria is a federal state and central government has little pull in Vienna City-state because of the stranglehold that the Social Democratic Party has. Prosecutors as well as most other civil service positions are filled by party members according to the Austrian proporz (+-proportionality) system, basically nepotism on a huge scale. Vienna thus remains wildly left in comparison to the rest of Austria. Lets not forget, most of the immigrants like Turks, North African Muslims and others live mostly in Vienna and obviously vote for the party that gives them the most.

The important thing is to see what the reaction is. Will he be in trouble? If not it can only be good. The reaction of the other MP's is reassuring.

Actually it is a wonderful language with a very wide range. Sounds wonderful when used, singing a lullaby and you have to admit, crapping someone out in English is lame in comparison.

You'd need to shrink that expression to a compact acronym - ISINMTU - as you find youself using it so often on a site like this.

Now that the mindless hype is wearing off, the Manchurian Moonbat's approval is tanking so fast, you could almost feel sorry for the guy. Maybe allegations of homosexuality will help prop up his popularity among his liberal base.

Read and prepare to be a little stunned.

Now that I come to think of it ... there was a strange little craze doing the rounds about two years ago. People would ask "Who would you turn gay for."

My answer, at the time, was Helen Clark.

I don't think that that was the hoped-for result. But, thinking about it now, Michelle Obama would do the job nicely for me.

Finally some positive things are happening. I never expected this from EU politicians, but I’m glad it’s occuring.

The Turks are one of the muslim people that irritate me the most. They pretend to be ‘Western’ and ‘enlightened’ or whatever, and of course, behind the rhetoric there is always the muslim spirit of hate of everything non-muslim. This is slightly off topic, but might as well share it here – in the least several months, Croatian media has been bombarded by Turkish propaganda, most notably in the form of three Turkish soap operas airing on two national TV channels (and we have only 4 national channels in total). Now, some will say ‘what the hell, it’s only stupid soap operas, who cares’, right? Well, apparently stupid people care. These shows are immensely popular so that many people are actually going to seminars or something to learn to speak Turkish and educate themselves in Turkish culture( courtesy of Turkish embassy, of course). So not only that every time I turn on the TV I hear Turkish gibberish; the people around me are going to start speaking it more and more. If this was an isolated case, I wouldn’t care, but the ‘charms’ of the orient are slowly making their way into our culture day by day, replacing ours with theirs.
And to think not so long ago we used to chop off their heads and let them hang from our fortresses...

Magnum, I'm amazed that Croats would react like that. Surely all of their focus is west, towards the EU and Europe in general? Why this interest in a traditional backward enemy culture?

Further to my previous post, an extract from the link:-

"In National Socialist Germany, nothing is ever heard of the necessity of increasing taxation, compulsory savings or the issue of enormous public war loans. On the contrary! Recently an important tax was abolished. Money is so plentiful that the interest rate on Reich loans could recently be reduced from 4 1/2 to just 4 per cent."

London Times, October 11,12,13, 1940.

Note the date. This was the time when Churchill had bankrupted the British nation and had to beg American President Roosevelt for loans; the pledges being the British Empire; its possessions and its preferential trading agreements.

So ... Krokodil. Maybe Mr. H wasn't such a total incompetent after all, hey?

A few more inconvenient facts about World War II.

Especially for those who labour under the fond delusion that betrayal of one's allies is a new thing.

On September 17th the Soviet Union invaded Poland and eleven days later Poland's independence ended. The Soviet Union's invasion of that country raised not a murmur of protest from London.

When Polish General Kazimeirz Sosnkowski, the Supreme Commander of the Polish troops, reminded his soldiers that 'Poland entered this war because of the urging of Great Britain, it was at Winston Churchill's insistence that the outspoken Supreme Commander was deprived of his command.

Eight weeks later the Soviet Union invaded Finland. Winston Churchill's coalition government also declared war on this hapless Scandinavian state that had a few years earlier in the gallant 'Winter War' defended its territory so fearlessly against the might of the Red Army.

Remember Churchill's references to "Plucky Little Finland"? He didn't.

And a bit more:-

Note the date: October 3rd 1938 (four days after the signing of the Munich Agreement of peace in Europe).

"Poor Edward (General Sir Edward Spears). Now there's bound to be a General election, and now faced with the prospect of losing £2,000 a year from the Czechs. Can you believe it? And his seat in parliament!"

The American novelist and wife of Sir Edward bemoaning the fact that her husband would no longer be receiving Czech bribes for his anti-German stance.

"In the files (Boston University, Massachusetts) I found a telephone call from the Czech Ambassador, Mr Jan Masaryk made in September 1938 in Prague, saying 'Mr Churchill is asking for more. Mr Atlee is asking for more as well!'

These Czech files revealed that 2 million pounds had already been sent from Prague to London in July 1938 for the bribing of 'influential opposition Conservative MPs'. These included Mr Churchill, Anthony Eden and Harold Macmillan; all became prime ministers.

Enjoy,

Uncle Nasty.

Very, very highly-recommended read.

http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/roundone.htm

The site is rather nicely named "Round One to the Barbarians"

And the point of this whole post is to state AGAIN, do not rely on mainstream media and bloody Hollywood for your view of the world.

And to be bloody obvious about it, I would like to point out to the whingeing Poms who insist that Hitler declared war against England. He did not.

Which is why he allowed the BEF to evacuate at Dunkirk. The escape of 188,000 British and 150,200 French troops at Dunkirk, enraged and infuriated Hitler's general staff.

Peter A,
Unfortunately many people here have strong inclinations towards the East, especially the younger or stupid ones. Whether it's soap operas, music etc. they will like if it’s ‘exotic’. Also, many Croats have friends/family in Bosnia where Islam reigns so no wonder these people bring back muslim customs back with them. Speaking of which, I’ve read somewhere that Al-jazeera is moving into Bosnia, at the expense of local TV houses. So Arabic will probably become a major language there pretty soon.

So, part of the people harbour love for backwards ways of Middle East, while the majority can’t wait to get into EU so we become completely engulfed in decayed, consumerist, politically correct culture of the west.

Krokodil said...

Uncle Nasty, I checked out the link you provided. It's a looong read so am afraid I didn't have the patience to read all of it.

I both agree and disagree with parts of it. However, the most obvious observation of it is that it is extremely biased and makes no attempt to be even-handed.

I really cannot be bothered to go into many points regarding things Second World war.

Is the "accepted" history we are taught re: WW2 maybe not quite the whole truth? Definitely.

But I simply reiterate what I said before: Hitler was a fool when it came to grand strategy. The non-capture of British forces at Dunkirk was almost certainly because Hitler was in a struggle for authority with his own generals - and not because he had rose-coloured views of the British Empire, as the link suggests. In other words, he ordered his generals to cease their progress, despite their dissaproval, so that he could establish his authirity over them. And regardless of his motivation, he bungled on a gigantic scale by not capturing the British and French forces there. It is just possible Britain would have had to throw in the towel with such a defeat.

Again, despite the severe warnings and misgivings of both the Nazi and German military hierarchy, Hitler decided to invade the USSR. The link claims that the Soviets were on the verge of an attack themselves - I've read a lot of history on the subject and it's the first time I've ever come across such a theory, and so am suspicious of it.

Six months after Germany launched their attack on the USSR Hitler, unbelievably, declared war on the USA. Whether or not he was hoping Japan would attack Russia in the east, as some suggest, is beside the point. Hitler UTTERLY guarenteed Germany's defeat with such recklessness.

The fact of the matter is, he should have ensured that Britain was out of the equation one way or the other, before getting into such ambitious military ventures like going to war with the Soviets.

And as for declaring war on the USA, the mind boggles. Would the USA have declared war on Germany? Possibly (Rooseveldt certainly wanted to), but there was a strong anti war-with-Germany lobby in the USA (more white Americans are ethnically German than any other European nationality). So we just don't know.

Nope, Mr H was no great military genius, and regardless of the machinations of his and Germany's enemies, it can be argued that HE was most responsible for grinding Germany into the dust - due to his strategic incompetence.

krokadil - you are 100% correct and any serious historian would rubbish the link UN refers to. The only strategic thing he wasn't wrong on was identifying Normany for the D-Day landings. And that might just have been a lucky guess.

Yes, interesting stuff Uncle Nasty (your link 22:18), but is hardly conclusive proof of alternative history.

Mainstream historians would hold that Stalin possibly had it in his sights to launch a war against Nazi Germany, but not for some time. If you consider the utter hiding the Soviets received against the Finns in the Winter War, it is unlikely that Stalin would have felt competent to launch a war agaainst Germany in the short term, from a purely logical point of view.

Of course, logic can fly out of the window with any human being, but Stalin, like Hitler, were pragmatically inclined.

We cannot, therefore, proceed on a basis of what we DON'T know, but only on what we do know and, for a fact, Hitler badly misjudged by launching an attack on the Soviet Union.

Actually, we do know. America -- with even less excuse -- declared war on Germany in 1918, once the jewish lobby went to work with all the power and influence they possessed, and pressured Justice Brandeis into persuading President Woodrow Wilson to do so.

Wilson was not even particularly anti-German ... unlike Roosevelt who was surrounded by the cream of the US left-wing -- his state department.

They were white and they floated to the top, so I guess it's politic to call them the cream.

Why in hell should Eurpean White nations stupidly allow themselves to be invaded by Muslims or third-worlders regardless of what religion they claim to adhere to? Islam was unable to conquer and take Europe by force centuries ago. Now their tactic is to resort to peaceful invasion via legal (or illegal immigration), then engage in rat-like overbreeding in hopes of eventually outnumbering the native Europeans. While, of course, their rat-like overbreeding is supported by native European taxpayers. The same tactic practiced by America’s illegal Latino immigrants.

Posted a comment yesterday but it must have got lost somehow or other.

UN, I checked the Wikipedia link you provided. OK, it's of some interest - but that's all. Most historians of the period do not subscribe to this view. Also, there is nothing inherently controversial with suggesting that the USSR was about to invade Germany - no historian need duck behind the parapet on this one, as far as I can tell.

Alternative or revisionist history is not an automatic replacement of accepted history. They provide fresh food for thought, and MIGHT be closer to the truth, but that is not guaranteed.

That the USSR had contingency plans for an invasion of Germany/ Western Europe I don't consider strange at all. The question is, how likely were they to actually do it circa '41/42?

Not very, as far as I'm concerned. The Soviets had suffered the mother of all mullerings at the hands of the Finns in the Winter war, and I can't believe they would have felt confident enough to take on the obviously much bigger, well-trained, well-led, veteran German army so soon. How much confidence would the Soviet high command have had in the morale and dedication of it's soldiers, seeing as they were mostly Bolshevik hating peasants?

As for the USA possibly declaring war on Germany, no, sorry, we actually don't know. Comparing WW to FDR, and the different geopolitics of their times, is simply an excercise in what-ifs. Yes, the USA might well have declared war on Germany (I personally tend to think so), but the point I was making is that Hitler recklessly declared war on the USA, thus making it impossible, by any reasonable consideration, that Germany could win the war. What if Hitler had severed his ties with Japan and pledged friendship to the USA after Pearl Harbour? If nothing else, it would have made it very awkward for FDR to declare war on Germany.

I stand by what I said before: Hitler's grasp of grand strategy in a WORLD war where a strategic WORLD view was necessary, was very limited, and would prove disastrous for Germany in just a short time.
