Mad judge to the rescue

What a complete crock of shit the Pamela Izevbekhai ‘asylum’ saga is. She’s the one who, with the aid of the Immigration Industry, has secured leave from a deluded judge to challenge her deportation in the High Court. We all know what a High Court case costs, and she has already been bleeding the legal system dry for nearly three years as every angle is pursued. No problem of course, the Irish taxpayer is picking up the bill for the whole thing.
.
According to the Irish Independent, her story is a mass of lies and contradictions. Now isn't that a surprise?
.
Izevbekhai, who bears an uncanny resemblance to one of the savages who bloodied the streets of Cork recently, claimed she arrived in this country from the Netherlands. However, there is no evidence that she was ever granted a visa, according to Dutch officials.
.
She came here at the end of January 2005 and immediately claimed asylum status. Her application was fully processed and having exhausted the appeals mechanisms, she was informed in November 2005 that she was to be deported. Her case has been fought through the courts since she was arrested in early January 2006 although the High Court ruled in favour of the State. Again, what a waste of time, money and other resources for this country.
.
Officials disclosed last night that she applied for a UK visa in September 2003 and was issued with a multi-visit visa for six months. She and her husband subsequently applied for a further UK visa in mid 2004 and received a two-year permit in June of that year. Although that visa did not expire until the middle of 2006, she arrived in Ireland in January 2005 and claimed she had never used the UK visas.

Her husband was later arrested by detectives from the Garda National Immigration Bureau in Dundalk and was returned to the UK where the authorities sent him to Nigeria.

Her fight against deportation has been fought mainly on the basis that her 18-month old daughter died after undergoing genital mutilation at the insistence of her husband's family and she feared that her other two daughters could face the same fate if the family returned. Immigration officials have argued that this incident took place in 1995 but, by her own account, she did not leave Nigeria until January 2005.

.
As I say, what a crock of shit. A total waste of our facilities, money, manpower and resources for un utterly bogus asylum claim. Despite this being demonstrably clear, the stupid courts have allowed her, at our expense, to dance a jig around us for over three years.

i tried to find something about this in the Nigerian Newspapers but...couldn´t...why not?

I am a cynic.... so...I must conclude that Nigerians would be embarrassed by this...of course they would be to called savages and butchers and accused of attempting to murder children.

I am a cynic...so, I must conclude that the supporters of Pamela Izevbekhai are doing so to serve their own agenda, that is FGM. The more publicity that can be gained from this the better. While of course I would oppose FGM even if it means to attack the culture of a country I know nothing about, of course it is a barbaric act. So lets humiliate Nigeria until FGM is outlawed and and make Nigeria a safe place for asylumed Nigerians to be able to return to.

It is terrible that we do so much trade with a country that mutilates its children...more should be done to bring these rogue African nations to accept international laws.

China used to have a tradition to bandage womens feet but it is now a thing of the past, we can do the same for Nigeria and help them stop all acts of barbarism.

The danger is of course that if we let people in on the basis that their children may suffer from FGM, we open the door to basically anyone from a significant chunk of Africa and a significant amount of the Islamic world - about 1 billion people total who would be guaranteed Irish citizenship (and government assistance) if they turn up in the country. Try integrating them.

Why was she given asylum and not sent back to whatekiver country she arrived from? Thats what the Dublin 2 Convention is for, but it seems we never use it.

I wonder why?

Of course the ironic thing about FGM is that some multiculturalist groups wish to allow it in Ireland too on behalf of Muslims/Africans. If they succeeded, then people such as Ms. Pamela Izevbekhai would have no grounds to seek asylum, as we would not regard it as a crime.

Aah, the tangled webs of that multiculturalists weave...

This is so true. Surely it'd one of the entitlements of thise who want to apply it?

My suspicion is that Ms. Izevbekhai is more terrified by the prospect of actually having to work for a living in Nigeria than her daughters possibility of being genitally mutilated there.

By the way, "Nice earrings Pamela, are they 14 karat or 24 karat gold?"

"I'm sure you're thanking every Irish taxpayer you see on the street, for your most wonderful paid overstay."

Good point about the ear-rings. Lady Savant made a similar observation.

What most people seem to miss is that it is FEMALES(mothers mostly) who insist on their daughters undergoing FGM. If they decided their daughters were not going to undergo FGM, then it wouldn't be a problem.

I've actually been to Nigeria, and met Pamela's family over there, and they are good hard working middle class people. If she was able to live in Nigeria, not only would she be close to her family and friends, but she would live in a good house with 4/5 houseservants, have a nice car and be able to continue her job in the bank.
So, conspiracy theorists, answer me this. Why would a mother take her two daughters away from this to live in a bedroom in an asylum in sligo where she is sharing the same bed with her two daughters.
Asylum seekers by the way only receive 35euro a week, the rest of the 280euro the state pays outis kept by the 'hotel' owners who run the asylums. Have you noticed all the 'hotels' that are now asylums. That's where the real corruption lies my freind. Any questions call my number 085 7162605.
